We welcome children and families warmly at our 10am service. (Children are welcome at our 5pm service, but we don't cater for them at that gathering.)

We aim to partner with parents in cultivating spirituality in children. We hope that children will find a supportive, safe and loving environment in which to explore spirituality and develop a mature faith of their own.

Our Sunday groups are a major part of this:

Creche
Our creche is for babies and toddlers up to around 3 years old. The creche runs throughout the service, and is open for children to be signed in at 9:45am - which allows parents a chance to settle their child before the service starts at 10am. Creche kids always have morning tea and unstructured play, and often enjoy singing or a story together. There are always two creche leaders rostered on, and all have current Working With Children Cards and police checks.

Trekkers (4+ years)
Our Trekkers group caters for kinder and primary-school aged children - for children who don't clearly fit into each age group we are really happy to chat about what would suit each child best. Trekkers kids can be signed in from 9:45am (to meet leaders and get used to the room), but usually spend the first 10-15 minutes in the service with their parents.  Trekkers follow the same teaching series as the adults, and also learn skills for participating in church (why we sing, how to find a Bible passage, how to pray, why we take communion, etc). Trekkers normally have morning tea together. All leaders have current Working With Children Cards and police checks.

Aside from our Sunday groups, we run regular social events for our community and friends, and anyone is welcome to these.
